CEO Andy Byron’s gushing words about Kristin Cabot resurface after pair ‘caught out’ at Coldplay gig

In the months before the Coldplay concert kiss-cam controversy, CEO Andy Byron had many kind words to say about his colleague.

Byron, who is married, and Kristin Cabot were identified online as the pair caught on camera at the Coldplay concert, in a moment that has since gone hugely viral with many memes and posts being made about the awkward scenes.

The colleagues were allegedly shown on a giant ‘kiss-cam’, enjoying the show in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Wednesday night.

A man was shown on camera with his arms wrapped around a woman from behind when they appeared on the jumbotron screen and caught the attention of Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

Instead of turning for a kiss like others had when the camera landed on them, the pair both reacted in what appeared to be shock and embarrassment, with the woman covering her face in horror as they both scrambled to disappear from view of the camera.

A ‘fake statement’ originally purporting to be from Byron has since been shared online.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joked: “Come on, you’re OK!”

As they continued to frantically try to hide from view, the frontman alleged: “Oh, look at these two, either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

After the clip has been shared thousands of times online, internet sleuths have been digging up what they can about the colleagues.

It didn’t take people long to figure out who they were and that they were colleagues at the same company.

A post written by Byron about Cabot has resurfaced, with some very kind words said about her skills and professionalism.

Cabot joined the team at Astronomer, a firm which has been described as a data orchestration platform in New York which ’empowers data teams to bring mission-critical analytics, Ai, and software to life’.

Cabot joined the firm back in November as their Chief People Officer, and Byron had some very kind words to say about her.

He said: “Kristin’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory.

“She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer.”

Cabot praised her conversations she had with Byron as having ‘energized’ her.

“There are plenty of companies out there where a leadership team doesn’t recognize the value that a strong people leader and people team can bring to a company. It’s not just about benefits or catered lunches.

“There’s so much more to it, and I was energized in my conversations with Andy and the Astronomer leadership team about the opportunities that exist here.”

Social media users have criticised the pair for their reaction, saying if they had just stayed calm the moment wouldn’t have gone viral.

“He was about to play it cool. She freaked out then what was he supposed to do,” wrote one.

“They made it a big deal and now everyone else has too,” added another.

“Is it true that if he hadn’t cracked, people wouldn’t have known? I think it was inevitable once they were caught on camera.”

Chris Martin had a hilarious reaction after capturing what ended up being a majorly viral moment on camera.

Coldplay were performing in Boston this week when the singer chatted and sang to audience members on the big screen.

But this sweet, innocent concert feature led to social media’s latest obsession being born (and turning into an absolute beast, to be fair).

You’ve surely seen it all over the place by now, but the camera ended up capturing tech CEO Andy Byron ‘with another woman’.

That’s as internet sleuths identified the Astronomer boss as the man in the viral clip, seen with his arms wrapped around the waist of a woman who, spoiler alert, doesn’t seem to be his wife.

And to be honest, the pair would have been absolutely fine if they hadn’t jumped apart and tried to hide.

It’s probably that rather dramatic and seemingly mortified reaction that led to Martin saying to the crowd: “Holy sh*t! I hope we didn’t do something bad.”

The ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’ singer then went on to allege: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Oooooffft.

And as the cameras carry on showing audience members at the Coldplay concerts (I mean, do their tours ever end?), Martin can be heard asking another couple: “Are you two a couple?

“Are you two a legitimate couple?”

Internet sleuths were quick to identify Andy Byron as the bloke in the viral video yesterday (17 July), with it being said that a fellow member of Astronomer’s leadership team was the woman in his arms.

She’s believed to be Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot, who is reportedly divorced and not known to have remarried. Byron is married, but not to Cabot.

Neither of them have publicly addressed their new-found viral fame or confirmed that it’s definitely them.

But the CEO hasn’t shied away from praising her in the past as when she joined the company in her role in November 2024.

“Kristin’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory,” he said in a statement at the time.

And in the same press release, Cabot said she was ‘energised’ in her ‘conversations with Andy’.

While we all wait for some kind of comment from someone involved (though let’s be real, will we ever get one?), fake statements are already doing the rounds, which Astronomer has slammed, according to TMZ.

The company which had its CEO allegedly caught on a camera with ‘another woman’ has slammed a ‘fake statement’ from him.

If you’ve got no idea of what happened at this point, then we’re clearly on very different sides of the internet – so, let me set the scene for you.

Chris Martin and his band Coldplay were performing in Boston, US, earlier this week when he sang and chatted to audience members with a camera.

The camera then focused on a man stood with his arms wrapped around a woman, swaying along as they were beamed on to the big screen. But what could have seemed like a pretty innocent romantic moment to those at the concert ended up going viral when they had a big reaction.

The pair quickly sprung apart, hiding from the camera as those around them laughed and looked pretty mortified.

And obviously, social media sleuths were just as fast to spring onto it, claiming the people involved were none other than the CEO of tech company Astronomer, Andy Byron, and its Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot.

Byron is married, while Cabot is divorced and it’s not clear whether she remarried. Neither of them have publicly addressed the viral video or confirmed that it’s them, with Martin heard alleging in the video at the time: “Oh look at these two. Either they are having an affair or they’re just really shy.”

With it currently being the hot thing on socials, people got pretty excited when a statement was shared online supposedly ‘from Byron’.

I mean come on, the fact it was shared by an account whose initials shorten to ‘P.Enis’ should have been a bit of a red flag. And yet, some news sites still fell for it.

“I want to acknowledge the moment that’s been circulating online, and the disappointment it’s caused,” the apparent fake statement read. “I also want to express how troubling it is that what should have been a private moment became public without my consent. I respect artists and entertainers, but I hope we can all think more deeply about the impact of turning someone else’s life into a spectacle.”

The statement, and others similar, have quickly been debunked, with Astronomer’s Taylor Jones telling Men’s Journal: “This is not a real statement.”

Byron and Cabot are still yet to say anything, as X is having an absolute field day with sharing memes of the moment and deep diving into their LinkedIns.

The ex-wife of Oasis’ Noel Gallagher, Meg Mathews, has hit back following claims she purposefully walked out of their Cardiff gig right before they played ‘Wonderwall.’

‘Wonderwall’, along with ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ and ‘Live Forever’, is one the rock band’s most beloved tracks, transcending their generation to become a British classic rivalling anything that The Beatles or The Rolling Stones ever produced.

It’s also meant to be a tribute to Meg, whom the musician was married to for four years until 2001.

So when the 59-year-old took off early at last Friday’s (July 4) Principality Stadium concert ahead of the encore, fans were quick to suggest it was an emotionally-charged choice.

Responding to this ridiculous notion on Instagram Stories, Meg went on to write: “I left before the encore to get to my car, I have left 100s of stadiums at the end in my life and it’s been carnage.

“And yes I heard Wonderwall loud and clear outside thank you I was not being rude or bored. That phrasing ‘walked out just moments before her song was played’ made it clear she left right before Wonderwall come on.”

She attended the first Oasis gig in 16 years with her and Noel’s daughter, Anais.

On the night, Meg took to her social media to share footage of herself in the stands, praising Noel’s ‘brilliant’ band and how she was loving ‘every minute.’

She sang all the words to every song they belted out – ‘Hello’, ‘Little by Little’, ‘Slide Away’, ‘Morning Glory’ and ‘Talk Tonight’ among many more – captioning the clip: “5 stars loved every minute thank you Oasis … you were brilliant. @PorthtowanBeachShop best gig buddy … Great to see all the old faces … it was worth the countdown.”

A source told The Mirror: “After posting about her ex-husband for weeks, Meg Mathews had a prime seat for watching the band. She was in great spirits before the set, watching Richard Ashcroft with pals.”

Back in 1996, Noel weighed in on the inspiration behind ‘Wonderwall’, which was ultimately sang by his brother Liam Gallagher.

“It’s about my girlfriend, Meg Mathews,” he revealed, per The Mirror. “She had a company which folded and she was feeling a bit sorry for herself. The sentiment is that there was no point in her feeling down, she has to sort my life out for me because I’m in bits at the time.”

The guitarist-cum-singer claimed six years later: “The meaning of that song was taken away from me by the media who jumped on it, and how do you tell your missus it’s not about her once she’s read it is? It’s a song about an imaginary friend who’s gonna come and save you from yourself.”

Elsewhere, the band’s background LED screens feature a heartwarming tribute to Liam’s rescue dog, Buttons.

This was pointed out by Happy Doggo’s Niall Harbison in an X thread following last week’s pair of gigs.

“Buttons has grown into a beloved member of the family and landed on her paws,” he wrote. “Liam has been a big supporter of @wearehappydoggo and donated his globe from the last tour to raise funds. I don’t think Buttons realises her dad is a rock star. She just loves her humans.

“So if you are wondering why there is a dog on the @oasis screens now you know. Well done Buttons. I think you can say you’ve made it when your dad has you on the big screen.”

Married couple who found out they are cousins reveal the moment they told their children about the relationship
Celina and Joseph Quinones didn’t know they were related until 10 years in to their marriage

A couple who found out they were cousins a decade in to their marriage have revealed how their children reacted when they told them.

Life was going great for Celina and Joseph Quinones, with the happily married couple from Colorado in the USA having three children and closing in on a decade of marriage.

It was around this time that Celina, now 37, decided to take a DNA test to find out more about her ancestry after wondering why the skin pigmentation for her kids was different.

After sending off their swabs to biotech company MyHeritage, the results left them in complete shock. Celina and Joseph were related.

The results confirmed that the married couple were in fact cousins. Not first, but third to fifth, meaning the connection is pretty distant – but family nonetheless.

Celina revealed to the Love Don’t Judge YouTube channel that she initially felt they should get divorced, with Joseph in denial about the revelation.

“I thought we were supposed to get divorced and then I started more thinking to myself, like, ‘for our children, for our household, we need to keep it together and stay together’,” Celina said.

The couple stuck it out and remain loved up to this day, 17 years in to their marriage. But as part of this, the Quinones realised they had to tell their children about the discovery.

On the moment they told them, Celina said: “They didn’t ask too many questions. My middle son, he goes ‘well does that make us sister and brother and cousins then?’. I guess so, yeah.”

Speaking to the podcast, the Quinones’ daughter said: “It’s kind of normal since they’re my parents and there’s nothing really weird about it because they’ve been married for a long time.”

Their oldest son said: “Sometimes I feel a little bit weird about it because it’s not something you want to brag about or like put out to the world or nothing like that.

“If they found out before they got married I think there would be something obviously wrong with that but since they found out after there’s there’s not one single problem I see wrong.”

Some people following Celina on social media have decided to troll her over the relationship, labelling it as ‘disturbing’.

Play
But she isn’t having any of that, replying to one troll by saying: “Let me divorce him because we didn’t know.

“Let me just tell our kids their parents are not together anymore because of other people’s opinions.

“No thank you, we will just be staying cousins, spouses and lovers forever. Now go throw up in your mouth some more.”

After one troll posted ‘I’d be embarrassed if I were those kids’, Joseph revealed that the ‘sensitive spot’ for him is when the children are brought in to it.

He said: “It’s irritating but I stopped reading them. I said I can’t read in to it and take offence.”
